The Bumper Jacksons descend at Joe’s Movement Emporium

October 3rd with swing, blues and old-time country 

Mount Rainier, MD:  The Bumper Jacksons descend on Mount Rainier October 3, 2014 with a an evening of music and dancing at Joe’s Movement Emporium.

Deeply rooted in their love for early swing, blues and old time country, the Bumper Jacksons are playfully creative with their originals, re-imagining American roots music with both power and tenderness.

Recognized as the region’s “Best Traditional Folk Band” at the 2013 Washington Area Music Awards, the Bumper Jacksons have positioned themselves squarely at the helm of the young roots music scene in DC and Baltimore, pioneering a new, fresh take on American music.    Bursting at the seams with some of the richest threads of old America, the Bumper Jacksons bring you into the center of a party where everyone’s invited and dance floor never sleeps!
