Help Joe’s spread the word about Giving Tuesday using your SOCIAL MEDIA POWERS

Dear Joe’s Friend,

On Tuesday, December 2, 2014, we’re going to be part of a history-making effort! We’re participating in #MarylandGivesMore, a campaign to declare Maryland the “Most Generous State” in America by raising $12.2 million for nonprofits on 12.2.14, #GivingTuesday. Nationally, #GivingTuesday is a movement to add a day of giving to the calendar on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday.

We’re raising funds on #GivingTuesday to kick-start our giving season and in support of our Art Education Programs.

Not only will we benefit directly from the funds raised on #GivingTuesday, we’ll also be able say we helped to write a new chapter in history! How cool is that?

We need your help, and it’s easy:

  • Please consider making your year-end gift on 12.2.14, #GivingTuesday.
  • Help us make the gifts of others go further by contributing matching funds.
  • Help us get as many people involved in #MarylandGivesMore as possible by spreading the word about Joe’s Movement Emporium on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and be sure to connect with us at @joesmovement and use the hashtag #GivingTuesday and #MarylandGivesMore.
  • Send an email sharing your enthusiasm for Joe’s Art Education Programs to your friends, colleagues, and family members. We’d love if they would support Joe’s for #GivingTuesday, but we also want everyone to support whatever inspires them.

Please do what you can for the children of Prince George’s County on this big day. Your giving can have even more impact with the power of the #MarylandGivesMore effort on #GivingTuesday.

If we can answer any questions about the campaign, please let us know.
