Inspired by Dan Fagin’s “Toms River” this work combines the power of a panel discussion with the speed of sketch comedy. Audience members, public health experts and professional actors unite to explore the implications of historical practices in the chemical industry. Dean of the UMD School of Public Health, Jane Clark, takes the stage to give an overview of essential facts. Get ready to cross boundaries, disrupt the expected and find new answers.

Joe’s Movement Emporium and The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center are partnering to co-present NextLOOK, a series especially designed for artists whose works are in the research and development phase of creation.Medicine by the Book is created by DC-based choreographer, Margot Greenlee.
