Making Progress – Process photos of Joe’s Facility upgrades!

From our humble beginning in a storefront studio in 1995, Joe’s sought to support the community with high quality, affordable programming that serves people of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs.  Since opening a 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse in 2008, Joe’s has increasingly expanded its programming and services to meet the needs of artists and the community in general.  Open 7 days a week, 350 days per year, Joe’s serves more than 70,000 individuals annually.  Joe’s has developed a reputation as an affordable and accessible HOME for thousands of individuals and families.

This has put significant wear and tear on our HOME—and it shows. We are ready to IMPROVE our HOME so that all of us may continue to enjoy it for many years to come.

Thanks to you, we’ve made significant process on some amazing facility upgrades including carpeting the CreativeWorks computer lab (for better sound management and a cozier/quieter setting):

And finally getting that beautiful, sprung wood, dance floor in theater we’ve long dreamed about:

To celebrate the new floor, we’ve planned a spectacular social dance event: Old Skool Hand Dance with Smooth & EZ. Get your tickets now and enjoy the magic of our brand new dance floor!

Joe’s HOME Improvement Campaign is still rocking on, and we still need your support. A gift of any size goes a long way to get us closer to the following goals:

  • upgrade lighting, sound and digital media in black-box theater;
  • upgrade the bathrooms repaint the façade; and
  • pave the parking lot.
